If you need a break or finished the Single player events, head on to the online component of the game. While you are playing the game most of the use each weapon at least once trophies will be achieved. Once you have finished with either one go to the next one and complete it achieving the only 2 gold trophies in the trophy set. I would advise sticking with one of them until you have earned all golds/distinctions as one of them so there is no confusion on which ones you need to complete. Need for speed: Hot Pursuit gives you the chance to drive as both a cop and a racer without losing any progress when switching between the two.
